Zzzzzz

I can barely remember my workout this morning I was so tired. I was really tuckered out this morning and could barely do half the workout. I found that I was just as tired at the end as I was in the beginning. It didn't help kick start my brain. Took about 3 or 4 hours for me to really wake up.

I've come to the conclusion that sleep is more important than just getting up earlier to do my workout. I will just have to make time during the day to do them until after my Clinicals are done. I knew it was going to be tough to work around them with the start of KFB but I know it will work out fine. I know I will be blazing through once I am well rested and we get into the program a little more.

  1. No sleep, no muscle, no coordination gains, and stiff muscles. Sleep is training too.

  2. I like that - sleep is training too.

I'm a morning person, so I don't have that particular battle to fight. But totally get the "too knackered" thing

  3. It is tough, but try to push back bedtime, 5 minutes a day, and push back wake-up time to match. I did it on PCP and now generally wake up at 5am daily -- getting to bed before 11pm and so getting a good 6 hours of sleep. Not 8 I know, but better than 4!

  4. haha yeah, I'm not a morning person nor am I not a morning person. I don't have a preferable time of the day... except dark :D. If its my alarm going off, or the phone while we are on call at the station, or just someone walks in my room, I am up and at it instantly... I've just not been getting enough sleep in general lately D:

  5. I try to get to bed around 9-10, and wake at 6. I keep the room completely pitch-black. It's the best way to sleep.
